this is my passion project.
WHAT'S THIS PASSION FOR?
To conclude my semester of photography class, I decided to do a project I had hoped to weave into one of my assignments since the beginning. For a large portion of my life, I have been a lover of quotes. I have folders and documents and walls covered in the words of other people. I wanted a way to incorporate this into my project because whether I take up new hobbies or learn new things, the quotes I love are always something I am truly passionate about. For this project, I began it by deciding which quotes I would like to form into photographs. I picked the quotes I have vivid images of in my head. When I read them, they form pictures to me. I took these pictures in my head and brought them to life; taking my friends to specific places and framing the photos. I then wrote down the quotes and copied them onto my computer, using my own handwriting and notebook paper to attach the photos with the words.
